Digital Marketing is my passion! For the last 14 years, I have worked in the technology industry with an emphasis on marketing and customer acquisition. Driving traffic through the sales funnel from strangers to customers and then advocates is what motivates me.

My core strengths are SEM, SEO and digital marketing consultancy. I am tech savvy, and I believe that the Internet is a force for good which can help people and improve their quality of life. During my career, I have interacted with hundreds of companies, innovative business models and diverse customer segments. Capturing the right customers with the right ROI is the goal!

I always test assumptions, iterate and then redefine KPIs to deliver the best results. In my work for Sherlock Communications, for example, all our decisions are driven by real-time performance data and metrics.

Relationship building is the key to professional success, and it brings out the best in me. I have experience in managing teams from my time at Americanas s.a., in Rio de Janeiro, where I managed a 10-person Search Engine Optimisation team for the largest e-commerce in Brazil.

Where Am I?

I currently live in Rio de Janeiro, a Brazilian state located in the Southeast of the country. I live in the state capital, which is known by locals as the “Cidade Maravilhosa” (“Marvelous City”) due to its beautiful beaches and natural bounty. Not many people know that between the years of 1763 and 1960, Rio de Janeiro was the capital of Brazil. I love living and working here, exploring the city and everything it has to offer, from mountains to beaches.

I love to travel, and I’m always eager to discover different places, cultures and people. I believe that when we get to know a new place, we find out things about our own personality, and learn to relate better to people, with increased respect for their way of living, their ideologies, religions and tastes. I recommend that others visit different places too, as it definitely improves our interpersonal relationships and creativity, adding value to our lives.

Causes

I support causes that seek to combat extreme poverty, because I believe that if basic human needs are not met, there will be insufficient quality of life and hope to advance education and envisage a fairer world, with fewer social inequalities. My volunteer work so far has focused on raising funds for the poorest members of society, and building homes for communities.

Goal Global is an Irish non-profit organization whose mission is to help the least fortunate, and those who suffer from the effects of war or natural disasters. I worked as a GOAL volunteer, raising funds for disasters and relief efforts.

TETO (TECHO)

Teto is an organization whose mission is to build houses in at-risk communities and help overcome poverty, through joint action among residents, volunteers and other actors. I worked as a volunteer for Teto, helping to build homes in these communities.
