RecargaPay Rises to the #1 Top-Up App in Brazil using HasOffers

In order to provide the fastest and best Top-Up service in Latin America, RecargaPay had to address the challenge of a rapidly growing mobile user base.

We focused on the coding and development of our core Top-Up and bill payment app business. Therefore, we were looking for software partners to drive our mobile user growth. 

A partnership with TUNE´s HasOffers software allowed us to take the next step and expand our mobile user acquisition efforts. Working with affiliate software has allowed us to grow without having to divert precious resources away from our key task of creating the best Top Up and Bill payment experience for the mobile generation.

Challenges:

RecargaPay’s in-house affiliate program drives publisher’s web traffic to our application. However, due to the success of RecargaPay in Brazil, we quickly outgrew our in-house program and needed a new solution.

Our developers time is crucial; we roll out new app versions on a weekly basis. We analysed the pros and cons of developing a new in-house system or looking for outside help, and decided that we would need to partner with an affiliate program software provider. We scoured the entire market to find a company that would best suit our rapidly growing mobile app.

We were looking for a software system that would be intuitive and allow publishers to easily access and manage their campaigns, while being robust and able to handle large traffic volumes.

Solution:

For any start-up, time is crucial, and at RecargaPay we favour a “Getting Things Done” approach. We reduced the available software providers down to a final shortlist of two, and decided to go with HasOffers based on the ease of implementation which they offered. HasOffers has all the aspects that we were looking for to track our growing customer base. Its simple software allows our developers to remain focused on shipping great products while we can grow our user base. We also save time thanks to the automated publisher billing capability, and can successfully manage high volumes of publisher payouts.

Results:

With the streamlined process enabled by HasOffers, we now have a publisher program which numbers over 300 affiliates – up from zero in less than a year!

And thanks to our ability to efficiently track our mobile traffic, our affiliate payouts have risen to $4USD, based on volume. Our payouts are on a CPA basis for NEW RecargaPay users. With these competitive payouts, our publisher program has become one of our principal channels of user acquisition, allowing us to rise to #1 in the Brazilian market.
