ITBA course on E-commerce and Social Networks

This course, entitled “Digital Marketing – E-commerce and Social Networks”, is offered online by ITBA in Spanish. Students who participate in the program have 12 weeks to study the content, and receive an advanced certificate. Classes are taught by a faculty made up of three professors, with the participation of five special guests, including myself.

Registration for the course closed in March 2021, with classes lasting until July 20th. The course was set up to provide content that enables students to live and apply their experiences to the professional environment, either as freelancers or in small and medium-sized businesses.

Several topics are covered in these classes, including: the latest trends in digital marketing; SEO and content marketing strategies; and theoretical and practical knowledge of the main digital advertising platforms. Students have the opportunity to carry out practical work, analyze cases, develop their own digital campaigns and even simulate an e-commerce, for which the students have to propose and configure digital campaigns. All these activities lead to a deeper understanding of this world.

I was invited to take part in this program and share some of my experience as SEO manager at B2W, and as a keynote speaker at SEOday. The five class modules are: Digital Assets, Customer Focus, Capturing Demand, Generating Demand, Evaluation and Final Message.

Enrollment for the course is now closed, but anyone interested in learning about marketing, management, digital transformation and similar subjects can register for other available courses via the ITBA website. Please note that students are required to speak and understand Spanish at an advanced level.
