Livestream on SEO for e-commerce

I took part in a livestream for SEO de Pijama, a YouTube channel that brings together professionals to talk about technical SEO, SEO for e-commerce and Local SEO.

The livestream covered SEO for E-commerce and lasted a little over an hour, featuring experts answering questions about search page indexing, filter indexing, out-of-stock products and core web vitals.

I was invited to join the chat and talked about dealing with out-of-stock products and SEO at B2W, the company I work for. I maintained that pages for products which have sold out should not be deleted.

For me, the decision to delete pages or not depends on what each e-commerce company is trying to achieve. If links to this page already exist, and if new content is being created for it, it makes no sense to delete it in my opinion. Another point to assess is whether or not the page is generating conversions.

The full livestream, complete with further discussion and content on the subject, can be accessed here.
